Construction
The construction and redevelopment of unmodernised properties is becoming more exciting all the time. Transforming the original footprint with side, rear and roof extensions as well as full interior re-build is what Element Construction have done since the beginning. In order to fully maximise all available space and redevelop, it is common for only the side walls and front facade to be the only remaining parts of the original building with the entire internal structure re-built.
Basements
The popularity of constructing basements has surged, particularly in London homes, owing to the significant additional space they can provide. In the last decade, almost all of our projects have involved the incorporation of a basement. Noteworthy among them include side-by-side basements and double -depth basements with features such as a swimming pool, gyms, media rooms and wine cellars. Beyond the ample space, basements offer privacy, a retreat from urban noise, and a cool escape during the summer heat.
Contract Management
Our approach to contract management is two tierd. Each individual project has an experienced Contract Manager on site for the duration. A Project Manager then oversees the wider picture and will be the daily point of communication for the Client, Architects, Engineers and Trade Specialists as well as managing costs and project programming from beginning to end.
Joinery
Our team of skilled in-house carpenters specialise in crafting custom-made items like timber mouldings and staircases. Additionally, we collaborate with a highly experienced team of joiners who excel in crafting exceptional bespoke kitchens and cabinetry. These are longstanding relationships that we have built and consistently endorsed over many years of working together.
Mechanical & Electrical
We oversee Mechanical and Electrical work through specialist subcontractor companies with whom we have established partnerships spanning over a decade. Our confidence in their expertise and professionalism, coupled with a shared understanding of expectations developed over numerous large-scale projects together, has strengthened our trust in these relationships.
Follow on Care
Upon completion, we will provide the client with a comprehensive handover manual detailing all fittings and installations in their home, along with instructions and care advice. Our close collaboration with clients throughout each project has led us to believe that our ongoing support sets us apart. Therefore, we are dedicated to offering aftercare assistance or advice well beyond the standard 12-month guarantee period.
